Big Bore Air Rifles
The vast majority of airguns available today come in either the .177 or .22 calibre, but several manufacturers have developed “big bore” air rifles in the .30 & .50 calibre. Big bore air rifles bring power and accuracy to hunting larger pests.
It is a historical fact that larger bore air rifles have been around for a couple hundred years and more recently custom builders and small manufacturing concerns in this country have been producing larger bore air rifles. Interest in these rifles has grown as a small group of hunters started hunting predators and larger game with “big bore” air rifles and a few manufacturers have stepped up to the plate.
